Tentative Itinerary for Tour 31: June 2 to June 14, 2026.

I am proposing a tentative itinerary that is typical of our tours. No doubt I will make several changes to the itinerary because we try to add new sights and new activities all the time. The price will be $4,800 per person which includes airfare, airport taxes and fuel surcharge, four-star hotels, Deluxe transportation, and all meals, except lunches. The single supplement is $700. June 2 – Tuesday DAY 1 – Departure from John F. Kennedy Airport, New York on NEOS, 5:00 P.M. flight NO785 direct to Palermo.

June 3 -Wednesday DAY 2 – Our flight will arrive at 7:20 AM at the airport. We will drive to Palermo have breakfast at the hotel Piazza Borsa and some free time before rooms become available. The welcome dinner will be at the Casa del Brodo in Palermo.

June 4 – Thursday DAY 3 – Morning guided tour of Palermo that includes the Cathedral and other important sights. In the afternoon, we will visit the Cathedral of Monreale. We will travel to Villa Cefala’, a 17th Century estate for dinner with local guests and entertainment.

June 5 – Friday DAY 4 – Palermo to Marsala. We will stop for cassatelle in Castellammare del Golfo. We will meet with the Mayor of the town and visit the impressive Castle we have always seen from the belvedere point. We then proceed to Marsala for a wine tasting before going to our hotel, the Sea Water Spa. Some local guests will join us for dinner.

June 6 – Saturday DAY 5 – In the morning we will visi the the city and in the afternoon we will visit a wonderful museum in the island of Mozia off the Marsala coast. Dinner will be at our hotel the Sea Water hotel.

June7 – Sunday DAY 6 – Marsala to Agrigento we will have lunch by the sea and visit the Valley of the Temples. Before dinner in our Hotel Della Valle, we will be entertained by the Val d’Akragas group.

June 8 – Monday DAY 7 – After breakfast we will drive to Piazza Armerina to visit the Villa del Casale, with its marvelous floor mosaics. After the visit, we will stop for lunch in San Cono. After lunch we will proceed to Siracusa and after dinner we will be entertained by Salvo Bottaro and his friends. We will stay in the Grand Hotel Villa Politi for two nights.

June 9 – Tuesday DAY 8 – After breakfast we will visit the Paolo Orsi Museum in Siracusa and the Madonna delle lagrime. Then we will go to Ortygia to visit the cathedral and have lunch by the water. Dinner will be at our hotel.

June 10 – Wednesday DAY 9 – Morning drive to Catania. Visit the Cathedral, the Via Etnea, and other sights. You will have time for lunch on your own before we drive to the Caesar Palace in Giardini Naxos. On the way, we will stop in Acireale to taste their famous ice cream. The Caesar Palace will be our hotel for the next three nights. The hotel is all inclusive with breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

June 11 – Thursday DAY 10 – After breakfast we will drive up to breathtaking Taormina to see the Greek Theater and have free time for shopping and for lunch. We will return to our hotel for relaxation at the pool or at the beach.

June 12 – Friday Day 11 – After breakfast we will visit the charming town of Savoca. We will return to our hotel early in the afternoon to relax by the pool or do some shopping.

June 13 – Saturday Day 12 – we will drive to Dittaino for some shopping and for lunch then we will proceed to Mondello’s hotel Splendid La Torre for our farewell dinner and prepare for departure the next day.

June 14 – Sunday DAY 13 – Transfer to Palermo airport for our departure to New York on NEOS – flight NO786, leaving at 11:25 AM, arriving in New York’s John F. Kennedy Airport at 2:50 PM of the same day.
